Phillips Manufacturing Has Joined The CSSA
The Certified Steel Stud Association (CSSA) announced today that Phillips Manufacturing, headquartered in
Omaha, Nebraska, since 1955, has joined the CSSA and is certified under the CSSA Code Compliance Program for
Non Structural products.
ICC-ES Grants Approval for Compliance with Building Codes
The International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES)
has granted the Certified Steel Stud Association approval for compliance with the
2009 and 2012 International Building Codes (IBC) and International Residential Codes (IRC)
for its structural load-bearing steel framing products as indicated in its evaluation report
number
ESR-3016 effective immediately.
ICC-ES, CSSA Offer Product Certification Supplements for Steel Stud and Track Manufacturers
ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) and the Certified Steel Stud Association (CSSA) have developed a steel stud code compliance certification program that provides code compliance certification through the use of evaluation report supplements and inspections to CSSA member companies.
The CSSA Adopts Code Compliance Program Developed with the ICC Evaluation Service
The Certified Steel Stud Association (CSSA) announced today that the Board of Directors voted to adopt and make effective immediately the recently completed CSSA Code Compliance Certification program. The CSSA worked closely with the ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) to develop an industry leading code compliance program.

code for answers on code compliance.

CSSA Introduction
A newly founded organization called the Certified Steel Stud Association (CSSA) takes a low-cost and simple approach to code compliance certification. CSSA is working with the ICC Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) to set up requirements by which its members can obtain product certification from ICC-ES.
